  • Denham, UK. 6 February, 2020. A JCB 531-70 forklift truck is driven across a temporary track towards Denham Ford by an engineer working on behalf of HS2. Works planned for the HS2 high-speed rail link in the immediate vicinity include the construction of a Bailey bridge across the ford and a compound in Denham Country Park requiring the felling of ancient trees. Some of the site lies within a wetland nature reserve forming part of a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation (SMI).

Anti-HS2 graffiti on a bridge across the river Colne adjacent to which a Bailey bridge is expected to be constructed imminently as part of works for the HS2 high-speed rail link.
