IWD 2019: Vigil for Comfort Women, London, UK

London, UK. 8th March, 2019. Campaigners from Justice For Comfort Women UK stand outside the Japanese embassy on International Women's Day in solidarity with the 'Comfort Women', over 200,000 girls and women used as sex slaves by the Japanese Imperial Army during the Second World War, to remember those who have since passed away and to call on the Japanese government to offer a sincere apology.
