London, UK. 8th October, 2022. Protesters holding Iranian flags and images of Mahsa Amini hold a rally in Trafalgar Square in solidarity with those protesting across Iran. Protests in Iran began in mid-September after the death in police custody of Mahsa Amini, 22, from Kurdistan, who had been detained by the morality police during a visit to Tehran for an alleged breach of strict dress code rules for women.
