Sweets Way estate eviction, London, UK

London, UK. 23 September, 2015. A High Court order taped outside the property of Mostafa Aliverdipour on the Sweets Way housing estate. A group of housing activists calling for better social housing provision in London occupied properties on the 142-home estate in Whetstone in order to try to prevent the eviction of Mr Aliverdipour, the estate’s last-surviving resident, and the planned demolition and redevelopment of the entire estate by Barnet Council and Annington Property Ltd.
