Shut Manston Down Protest

Manston, UK. 6th November, 2022. A speaker addresses around two hundred fellow activists from groups opposed to detention, deportation and the government's plan to send asylum seekers to Rwanda during a protest outside Manston asylum centre to call for the processing centre to be closed down. The charity Detention Action, a woman placed by the government at Manston and the PCS union which represents many Home Office employees are taking legal action against the Home Secretary regarding 'horrendous, inhumane and dangerous' conditions at Manston asylum centre for people arriving in the UK by small boat.
