Planned tree felling by HS2 thwarted by environmental activists, Harefield, UK

HS2 engineers try to block environmental activists who had crawled through a ditch under a road closure implemented by HS2 engineers on Harvil Road in the Colne Valley to facilitate tree felling works for the high-speed rail project. Environmental activists based at a series of wildlife protection camps in the area prevented the tree felling works for the duration of the weekend for which they were scheduled.
