Maidenhead, UK. 11th October, 2021. Project team members pose for a photograph after the official opening of a new station forecourt. The £3.75m refurbishment is intended to make the area around the station more commuter-friendly in anticipation of an increase in passengers when Crossrail opens and to improve both the interchange between trains and other forms of transport and walking and cycling links between the station and the town centre.
