Just Stop Oil Activists Detained After Throwing Soup At Van Gogh Sunflowers Painting London

Two Just Stop Oil activists are pictured with Metropolitan Police officers outside the National Gallery after having thrown Heinz tomato soup at one of Van Gogh's Sunflowers paintings and glued themselves to the wall beneath as part of a one-month campaign to call on the government to cease issuing oil and gas licences. The activists were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and aggravated trespass and taken into custody at a central London police station.
