Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadHarefield, UK. 5th February, 2022. Sarah Green (c) is interviewed on Harefield Moor during a March for Water protest walk by Stop HS2 campaigners to highlight the risk of contamination to the public drinking water supply from drilling into the chalk aquifer in the Colne Valley for the HS2 high-speed rail link. A viaduct requiring 292 piles driven into the aquifer, a natural water filtration system, is currently being constructed to carry HS2 across lakes and watercourses in the Colne Valley Regional Park and campaigners have called on Hillingdon Council to take action to protect the local environment.
