Slough, UK. 21st July, 2023. A RMT member stands outside the ticket office at Slough station holding leaflets in support of the union's Save Our Railway Ticket Offices campaign. The RMT opposes government plans to close railway ticket offices on the bases that passenger access to the best value tickets will be restricted, that passenger service, accessibility, safety and security will be reduced and that they will lead to the de-staffing of railway stations.
