Jonathan Bartley, co-leader of the Green Party, addresses climate activists from Extinction Rebellion blocking Millbank in front of Lambeth bridge on the first day of International Rebellion protests to demand a government declaration of a climate and ecological emergency, a commitment to halting biodiversity loss and net zero carbon emissions by 2025 and for the government to create and be led by the decisions of a Citizens’ Assembly on climate and ecological justice.
