Deer Inside HS2 Chiltern Tunnel South Portal Site, West Hyde, UK

West Hyde, UK. 27th February, 2022. A deer hind is pictured inside perimeter fences around the Chiltern Tunnel South Portal site for the HS2 high-speed rail link. Two 2,000-tonne tunnel boring machines are being used to create the 10-mile Chiltern Tunnel beneath the Chiltern Hills which will be the longest tunnel on the HS2 route between London and the West Midlands.
