Rise of the Precarious Workers demo, London, UK

London, UK. 30th October, 2018. Members and supporters of the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) trade union march together with other precarious workers from the offices of Transport for London to the University of London via the Court of Appeal in support of Uber drivers who are seeking employment rights. The Court of Appeal will today hear an appeal by Uber against a ruling that its drivers are employees rather than self-employed workers.
