A tree marked with white paint by HS2 engineers in an area of Denham Country Park designated for works for the HS2 high-speed rail link. Planned works in the immediate area are believed to include the felling of 200 trees and the construction of a roadway, Bailey bridge, compounds, fencing and a parking area. The area includes a wetland nature reserve adjacent to a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation (SMI).
