McDonald's workers hold McStrike, London, UK

London, UK. 12 November, 2019. Frances O'Grady, General Secretary of the Trades Union Congress (TUC), addresses McDonald’s workers belonging to the Bakers Food and Allied Workers Union assembled opposite Downing Street during strike action, dubbed a ‘McStrike’, to call for a New Deal for McDonald’s Workers which would include £15 an hour, an end to youth rates, the choice of guaranteed hours of up to 40 hours a week, notice of shifts four weeks in advance and union recognition.
