London, UK. 6 December, 2019. Activists from Sea Life Extinction Rebellion, joined by activists from Animal Rebellion, protest against super-trawlers outside the European Commission’s offices in Westminster. Super-trawlers are responsible for much illegal fishing, using nets as large as three football pitches, catching endangered species such as hammerhead sharks and dolphins and processing, storing and freezing thousands of tons of fish during weeks of continuous fishing.
