Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadHarefield, UK. 19 January, 2020. Sarah Green of Save the Colne Valley addresses activists from Extinction Rebellion and Stop HS2 holding an assembly during a ‘Stand for the Trees’ event timed to coincide with tree felling work for the high-speed rail link on land from which bailiffs acting for HS2 had evicted activists living in the Colne Valley wildlife protection camp almost two weeks previously. The trees behind them are expected to be felled imminently for HS2; 108 ancient woodlands will be destroyed by the high-speed rail link.
