Deer Inside HS2 Chiltern Tunnel South Portal Site, West Hyde, UK

West Hyde, UK. 27th February, 2022. Deer are pictured inside perimeter fences around the Chiltern Tunnel South Portal site for the HS2 high-speed rail link. Two 2,000-tonne tunnel boring machines are being used to create the 10-mile Chiltern Tunnel beneath the Chiltern Hills which will be the longest tunnel on the HS2 route between London and the West Midlands.
