Large police operation for HS2 to remove alder tree, Denham, UK

Police officers from Hampshire Police Marine Support Unit remove a male activist from HS2 Rebellion from the river Colne for arrest after he had tried to hinder the destruction of an ancient alder tree in connection with works for the HS2 high-speed rail link in Denham Country Park. A large policing operation involving the Metropolitan Police, Thames Valley Police, City of London Police and Hampshire Police as well as the National Eviction Team was put in place to enable HS2 to remove the tree.
