Construction works for the HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct, which will become the UK's longest railway bridge, are pictured at HOAC Lake (Harefield Lake No. 2). A viaduct requiring 292 piles is currently being constructed to carry HS2 across lakes and watercourses in the Colne Valley Regional Park.
