UCL strike by IWGB cleaners, porters and security officers, Uxbridge, UK

London, UK. 19 November, 2019. UCL cleaners, porters and security officers outsourced via Axis and Sodexo and belonging to the Independent Workers of Great Britain (IWGB) trade union begin a strike to end outsourcing and zero hour contracts. The strike is expected to be the largest ever strike of outsourced workers in UK higher education.
