Environmental activists block HS2 truck, Denham, UK

Environmental activists from Save the Colne Valley, Stop HS2 and Extinction Rebellion walk at a snail’s pace along a road in order to block a security vehicle and truck delivering fencing and other supplies to be used for works associated with the HS2 high-speed rail link close to the river Colne at Denham Ford. Works planned in the immediate vicinity include the felling of trees and the construction of a Bailey bridge, compounds and fencing, some of which in a wetland nature reserve forming part of a Site of Metropolitan Importance for Nature Conservation (SMI).
