Add to Lightbox Download

Flowers and signs bearing messages for the UK government are pictured on the 18th day of a hunger strike by Richard Ratcliffe, husband of Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe, opposite the Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) on 10th November 2021 in London, United Kingdom. Mr Ratcliffe began his hunger strike after Ms Zaghari-Ratcliffe lost her latest appeal in Iran in order to highlight insufficient action by the UK government to try to free his wife. Nazanin Zaghari-Ratcliffe has been held in custody in Iran since 2016.
