A farmer in a telehandler asks National Eviction Team bailiffs working on behalf of HS2 Ltd for clarification as to why they are erecting a fence across his field during the eviction of anti-HS2 activists from a wildlife protection camp in ancient woodland at Jones’ Hill Wood. Around 40 environmental activists and local residents, some of whom living in makeshift tree houses about 60 feet above the ground, were present during the evictions at Jones’ Hill Wood which had served as one of several protest camps set up along the route of the £106bn HS2 high-speed rail link in order to resist the controversial infrastructure project.
