Marcia Rigg, sister of Sean Rigg, speaks in Trafalgar Square before the annual procession to Downing Street by the United Families & Friends Campaign (UFFC) in remembrance of family members and friends who died in police custody, in prison, in immigration detention or in secure psychiatric hospitals. Sean Rigg, 40, died on 21 August 2008 while in police custody at Brixton police station. There have been 1,838 deaths in police custody or otherwise following contact with the police in England and Wales since 1990.
