Englefield Green, UK. 27 June, 2019. A dog chases a male mallard duck on a warm, sunny June day at the Cow Pond, an ornamental lake gilded with four different types of water lily, coloured white, pink, carmine red and gold, in Windsor Great Park. Temperatures are expected to rise in the south of England before the weekend as the heatwave intensifies still further in much of mainland Europe. The Cow Pond was renovated in 2012 to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
