McDonald's workers hold McStrike, London, UK

London, UK. 12 November, 2019. Asad Rehman, Executive Director of War On Want, addresses McDonald’s workers belonging to the Bakers Food & Allied Workers Union (BFAWU) assembled opposite Downing Street during strike action, dubbed a ‘McStrike’, to call for a New Deal for McDonald’s Workers which would include £15 an hour, an end to youth rates, the choice of guaranteed hours of up to 40 hours a week, notice of shifts four weeks in advance and union recognition.
