Denham, UK. 4 February, 2020. Activists from Save Colne Valley and Extinction Rebellion record the measurements and location of an ancient poplar tree in an area designated for the HS2 high-speed rail link next to the river Colne in Denham Country Park. Planned works in the immediate vicinity are believed to include the felling of 200 trees and the construction of a roadway, Bailey bridge, compounds, fencing and a parking area.
