The Stop HS2 Colne Valley camp is pictured on the second day of a three-day ‘Stand for the Trees’ protest in the Colne Valley organised by Extinction Rebellion, Stop HS2 and Save The Colne Valley to coincide with tree felling work by HS2 in the area. Bailiffs acting for HS2 have been evicting Stop HS2 activists from the camp for the past week and a half. 108 ancient woodlands are set to be destroyed by the high-speed rail link.
