Planned tree felling by HS2 thwarted by environmental activists, Harefield, UK

The activists, based at a series of wildlife protection camps in the area, used a variety of tactics to ensure that the tree felling work, for which road and rail closures had been implemented, was not carried out for the duration of the weekend for which it had been scheduled.
