Englefield Green, UK. 27 June, 2019. Male and female mallard ducks navigate around flowering water lilies in the Cow Pond, an ornamental lake in Windsor Great Park, on a warm, sunny June day. Temperatures are expected to rise in the south of England before the weekend as the heatwave intensifies still further in much of mainland Europe. The Cow Pond was renovated in 2012 to commemorate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
