HS2 Colne Valley Viaduct construction works

Harefield, UK. 5th February, 2022. Anti-HS2 graffiti is pictured close to works for the Colne Valley Viaduct, which will become the UK's longest railway bridge. A viaduct requiring 292 piles driven into the aquifer, a natural water filtration system, is currently being constructed to carry HS2 across lakes and watercourses in the Colne Valley Regional Park.
