Segregated garden at Lambeth housing development, London, UK
Add to Cart Add to Lightbox DownloadLondon, UK. 26th March, 2019. A communal play space at Henley Homes’ 149-home Baylis Old School complex in Lambeth which is not accessible to nearby social housing tenants. Henley Homes and Lambeth Council have been widely criticised because of the manner in which communal play spaces at the development have been segregated so as deny children living in social housing access to play with the children of wealthier families who have purchased accommodation in the development. Planning permission for the development was granted on condition that it include a mix of affordable and social housing.
