Just Stop Oil Activists Detained After Throwing Soup At Van Gogh Sunflowers Painting London

A Metropolitan Police vehicle leaves the National Gallery to transport to a central London police station two Just Stop Oil activists who threw Heinz tomato soup at one of Van Gogh's Sunflowers paintings and glued themselves to the wall beneath as part of a one-month campaign to call on the government to cease issuing oil and gas licences. The activists were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and aggravated trespass.
