London, UK. 24th October, 2024. Supporters of the Free Political Prisoners campaign stage a public exhibition of images of past and present political prisoners in the road outside the Attorney General's office and Ministry of Justice on United Nations Day. The protesters, who risked arrest by blocking the road for an hour and a half, called for a meeting with the Attorney General, for oil and arms industry lobbyists not to be able to influence measures intended to silence their political opponents, such as Just Stop Oil and Palestine Action, and for the Attorney General to take action in response to UN criticism of the UK's imprisonment of climate activists.
