Windsor, UK. 29th August, 2024. Extinction Rebellion climate activists set up camp in Home Park beneath Windsor Castle in preparation for three days of Upgrade Democracy protest activities. Extinction Rebellion's Upgrade Democracy campaign is intended to highlight the manner in which profits for oil and gas companies are safeguarded and to call on the UK government to create and be led by a Citizens’ Assembly on Climate and Ecological Justice.
