London, UK. 15th May, 2024. Students from University College London (UCL) hold a pro-Palestinian rally to mark Nakba Day. Two female UCL staff members and an alumna shaved their heads in support of Palestinian women in Gaza forced to do so due to lack of access to water. Students also held up hands painted red behind Palestinian flags and then staged a die-in at the end of the rally. UCL students had previously set up a pro-Palestinian encampment on campus on 3rd May to apply pressure on UCL to end academic partnerships with and divest from Israel.
