London, UK. 24th November, 2023. Parents, babies and children attend a protest by Parents For Palestine inside and outside a building containing the offices of arms company BAE Systems to call for a ceasefire in Gaza and for the UK government to cease arms sales to Israel.
Parents for Palestine were protesting protested in solidarity with Palestinian families in Gaza, where over 5,800 children have been killed in Israeli air strikes since 7th October 2023 according to the Palestinian Health Ministry.
BAE Systems makes components for F-35 and F-16 fighters such as those used by Israel in airstrikes against Palestinians in Gaza. It also carries out durability testing for the F-35 (CAAT, 2023).
