London, UK. 13th July, 2023. Eleven candidates attend hustings for the Uxbridge and South Ruislip by-election at Brunel University. Notably absent were the Conservative and Labour Party candidates. The by-election was triggered when Boris Johnson resigned as MP in advance of a judgment from Parliament's Privileges Committee which would have recommended that he be suspended from Parliament for 90 days and be denied a Parliamentary pass.
