2023-04-02 Little Amal celebrates Easter and Ramadan

London, UK. 2nd April, 2023. Local residents and wellwishers accompany Little Amal, a 12 foot puppet of a 10-year-old Syrian refugee child created in 2021 to represent the experience of all refugee children, first during an Easter parade through the Alexandra and Ainsworth Estate and, later, to Granary Square for an Open Iftar Ramadan celebration. A day of activities in Camden involving Little Amal was themed around celebrating different faiths to coincide with Passover, Easter and Ramadan. Passover activities took place earlier in the day.
