London, UK. 22nd March, 2023. Seven mothers take part in a hunger strike outside Downing Street and the Houses of Parliament for six days in protest against food poverty. The mothers began their hunger strike on Mother's Day as a response to the Food Foundation charity's finding that one in four UK mothers has to skip meals in order to feed their children and to demand decisive action from the UK government on poverty and the climate crisis.
