London, UK. 15th March, 2023. Jeremy Hunt, UK Chancellor of the Exchequer, leaves 11 Downing Street with the budget despatch box to present his Budget speech in the House of Commons. The UK's first full-scale budget for 17 months will be intended primarily to stabilise its economy with view to improving polling for the Conservatives ahead of the next general election.
