London, UK. 25th February, 2023. Protesters holding banners and Iranian flags march to Trafalgar Square from one of several assembly points in solidarity with those protesting across Iran. Protests in Iran began in mid-September 2022 after the death in police custody of Mahsa Amini, 22, from Kurdistan, who had been detained by the morality police during a visit to Tehran for an alleged breach of strict dress code rules for women.
