Harmondsworth, UK. 5th November, 2022. Metropolitan Police Territorial Support Group officers, and other emergency services, arrive at Heathrow Immigration Removal Centre to attend to a disturbance within the Harmondsworth wing which followed a substantial power outage. According to reports, a group of detainees left their rooms in the early hours of the morning and entered a courtyard armed with weaponry. No one was hurt during the disturbance at the detention centre which is managed by Mitie Care & Custody. Some detainees were relocated using coaches escorted by Territorial Support Group vehicles.
