The 3.5-metre puppet, which is nearing the end of an 8,000km journey from the Turkish-Syrian border to Manchester in support of refugees, climbed the steps of St Paul's Cathedral to present a wood carving of a ship at sea from St Paul's birthplace at Tarsus in Turkey to the dean. Little Amal then walked across the Millennium Bridge to the Globe Theatre.
