London, UK. 31st August, 2021. Environmental activists from Extinction Rebellion use a vintage bus to block a road junction to the south of London Bridge on the ninth day of Impossible Rebellion protests. Activists glue themselves inside the bus while others glue themselves to the road or lock on around the bus. Metropolitan Police officers storm the bus, breaking a window and with batons drawn. 43 activists were arrested for a variety of offences. Extinction Rebellion are calling on the UK government to cease all new fossil fuel investment with immediate effect.
