Supporters of left-wing Labour Party groups, including some suspended members, attend a protest lobby outside the Labour Party's headquarters on the occasion of a National Executive Committee meeting during which it would be asked to proscribe four organisations: Resist, Labour Against the Witchhunt, Labour In Exile and Socialist Appeal. Following proscription, members of those organisations could then be automatically expelled by the Labour Party.
