London, UK. 15th May, 2021. Hundreds of people attend a Free Palestine SOS Colombia rally and march from the Colombian embassy to the Israeli embassy on Nakba Day in solidarity with the Palestinian and Colombian peoples. Speakers at the rally highlighted human rights abuses being directed against Palestinians in Israel and the Occupied Territories, in particular attempts at forced displacements in Sheikh Jarrah in East Jerusalem, and in Colombia, where peaceful demonstrators and human rights defenders have been killed and subjected to repression, detention and torture. The march also paused outside the Ethiopian embassy in a display of solidarity with Tigray, where thousands of people have been displaced and rape is being widely used as a weapon, before joining the March for Palestine which the organisers claim was attended by 150,000 people.
