Denham, UK. 22nd March, 2021. Bailiffs from the National Eviction Team (NET), facilitated by Thames Valley Police, use cherry pickers to remove four activists opposed to the HS2 high-speed rail link from a makeshift tower which they had occupied in order to seek to protect an area of wet woodland in Denham Country Park from destruction during electricity pylon relocation works by Babcock in connection with the rail project. Two of the activists were locked together inside the tower. Activists from a number of different environmental groups continue to oppose the controversial HS2 infrastructure project from a series of protest camps based along its Phase 1 route between London and Birmingham.
