Wendover, UK. 18th March, 2021. HS2 woodland and ground clearance and demolition works in and around Wendover, including Small Dean Lane. Considerable preparatory work of this type is currently taking place between Great Missenden and Wendover to the north of the Chiltern tunnel section of the £106bn HS2 high-speed rail link. Activists opposed to HS2 continue to occupy a large protest camp - WAR camp - on the outskirts of Wendover.
